The DataFORTRESS is built utilizing the strength of industry leaders.
Schwab Corp. products have protected vital records and valuables from
disaster for more than 130 years. Western Digital brings their high-reliability
and high performance hard disk technology, while EMC Dantz contributes
the finest in back-up and restore software.
The DataFORTRESS protects your data from fire, water, magnetic waves
and other environmental risks. The enclosure carries UL Class 125-1/2
hour rating. The automated back-up software will protect you from accidental
deletions, virus attacks and computer failure. For the ultimate in protection,
you may also encrypt your most valuable data.
The DataFORTRESS is ready to use and operating system neutral. Simply
connect your computer to either the USB port or high-performance FireWire
800 port, and connect the A/C power cord. Install the software, select
the data you want to protect and set up your backup schedule. No further
interventions are necessary for your regular back-ups.
The initial back-up will copy all of the files and folders that you
select. In the future, only new or modified files will be backed up,
saving time and disk space. Restoring your data can be done in seconds,
